conversations

Me-"Elijah please don't act like a baby. Act like a six year old."
Elijah-"Mom I have only been six for a few days. I don't know how six year olds act"
he kind of has a point.

Since Elijah lost his first tooth, Isaac has been walking around the house pulling on his teeth yelling "take out my teeth! I want to lose a tooth!"

me-"boys clean up your toys"
Isaac-"I can't my leg is too squishy!"
Elijah-"It is toooo hard!"

Elijah wanted to know if we could start going to concerts. I said yes thinking he was going to want to go see Justin Beiber or something horrible like that. So I asked who we would go see play and he said
"The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Ozzy Osbourne"
I explained that some of the Beatles are dead and we won't ever be able to see them in concert. He was so upset.

I drive a mini van. In this mini van I am only allowed to listen to KBER 101.1, which is rock music. So we were driving to pick my dad up from the airport
Isaac- "what is Papa going to do when he has to hear rock n roll?"
Me- "Papa likes rock n roll. He was the one who taught me about it"
Elijah- "What!  He does!"
Isaac-"But he is old"

He is six!!

My baby is six! He is such a wonderful kid! He is kind, loving, funny, independent and smart. He is a wonderful big brother and friend. He has his daddy's dry sense of humor and makes me laugh all the time.
