Today was a prime example of "The Baby Shuffle". I woke up early to get my zone 2 ride over and done with so that Katie could get to the gym. Now I'm chillin' with Elijah while Katie gets her sweat on.
Here I am posting another marathon of pictures. Once again I'll offer up no lame excuses. Work and life are great. Elijah is changing so fast! It seems like he really will be cruising around on Buckley's back soon. Elijah is a really happy baby, except for wednesday afternoons. Katie works on wednesday's and I get to hang with Mr. Bottle Hater. The mornings are great; we read, play, take the dogs for walks, visit Katie at work (for a top-off), and nap. Then everything changes at 1500. Mr. Bottle Hater emerges and throws down some serious plastic nipple induced rage. There's screaming, kicking, and scratching until he finally hits the wall or mom comes home.
I finally found the time in my busy schedule to blog. The last couple of weeks have been filled with Elijah, bike rides, going to the gym, baby-n-Katie Boot Camp, work, computer classes for work, and chilling with the family unit. Here's some pictures just to get the grandparents off my case.
We've had a few sleepless nights over the past week and boy are my arms tired. Sometimes all you can do to soothe our little man is strap him in the car seat and swing him around. It works just about every time and only has one draw back: YOU CAN NOT STOP SWINGING THE CAR SEAT. Da Family Unit Pic From Todays Ride A Tranquil Moment
Today is my little brother's birthday. Zack's a pretty damn good brother. I love him and I am proud of his accomplishments. There will be a modest celebration. We will eat home made pizza, have some cake, and drink some beer. Since Elijah is finally getting bigger, Katie will be dressing him up for this event.
